Today you will be looking deeper into your community problem. You will look at Laws and regulations, Government Policies, the attitudes the community has about your problem, the political climate and the root causes of your problems in a effort to connect the dots and create a better understanding of what goes into your problem. This will also help you understand what would be the best course of action to solve this issue. Below is the reading for today. I ask you to create the charts and tables on a separate sheet of paper and have them done by end of day of the next class. It is in your best interest to finish this quickly as our next step is to reach out to organization and individuals who are working on solving this problem in the community. After reflection on your midterms and looking at your papers it has become clear that we must take some time to learn how to format your papers. The MLA format will be used in many of your university classes so it is important to start getting used to it now. Today you will work on formatting your paper in MLA style.
