Good morning wonderful People,
This week you will continue your work with assignment 2 of your project. Last week you should have learned what mutual aid is and how it can help the community. If you still need some help understanding the concept, please let me know.
For this assignment you will begin to look for resources to build out physical health portion of your survival kit by asking, “How does COVID-19 affect my physical health and what resources are available to stay healthy?”
COVID-19 primarily impacts our physical health, and many folks in our community do not have insurance and do not have access to government forms of health care. So, we need to find them ways to stay healthy and to treat some common sickness, as well as where folks can get tested.
You will need to provide information about:
You will need to find these resources and their contact information. However, you need to make sure that these resources are real and will not take advantage of your community. You will need at least 6 resources.
For example you will give me :
Name of clinic:
Address of clinic:
Hours and days of operation:
Or you can post recipes or instructions.
Here are few sites to help you along the way.

If you would like some help around this let me know. I am connected with a few groups that are doing this kind of health work and can help you. Let me know so we can set a zoom meeting up!
DUE Saturday MAY 16th
Good morning wonderful People,
Today we start working on our Community Response project. You are becoming part of a bigger community in Los Angeles that is working to meet the needs of our community. The best way to meet the needs of the community is through mutual aid. Before we can try to create or tap into a mutual aid network, we must first understand what mutual aid is.
This week you will need to answer the question “What is Mutual Aid?” in one TIEA paragraph. You will need to site at least three sources in your paragraph. To help you out a bit I will give you some focus questions:
If you answer all the questions in your paragraph you will be in great shape.
To help you here is a list of articles and videos you can use. You may also find your own information. (these will also be on my website for you to see the videos
